Drake University Independent News is the only publication on campus locked in an eternal battle with the forces of evil, and the only news source that you can trust. Nobody remembers when DUiN was formed (most of our archive was destroyed in The Great Goodwin-Kirk fire of 2019), but ever since the beginning it has been our mission to tackle the toughest stories on campus, the ones Times-Delphic decided were a waste of time didn’t have the guts to take on!
Unlike some publications on campus, we keep you up to the year on the most important information that every student should know about Drake. DUiN covered the 50th anniversary of Paul McCartney’s death and the authoritarian regime of Ringo Starr. It was DUiN’s brave investigative reporting into the shady dealings of Sodexo that led to our previous editorial staff contracting quesadilla-induced stomach ulcers. Join DUiN’s team and your work too can end up in several recycling bins across campus!
